Buying That Myrtle Beach Home

Hello world from beautiful Myrtle Beach. You've already heard that its a great time to buy in the Myrtle beach area with prices not being this low since the early 2000's. With the economy slowly getting better and inventories beginning to shrink there will never ever be a better time to buy in the Grand Strand. There are 80 million baby boomers retiring in the next 9 years and of those 80 million 80% want to live near the coast or have a vacation home on the coast. Many have found Florida to far to drive and to costly to fly back and forth to family and friends so more and more are looking at the Grand Strand for there future homes. Great weather and amenities along with low property rates are bring them to the Myrtle Beach area. The problem I'm hearing from many people is how do we finance these homes in this market? Many said they would have to wait till their present homes increase in value in order to sale. Let me assure you when that happens the property values here at the coast will increase higher than theirs. Others say when they mention a loan to their lending institutions about a second home they are treated as a leper even with great credit scores. There are loans to be had but the banks are more interested in first time buyers and refinancing now to keep the government happy. Well we all know what that leaves, CASH. Not everyone has that kind of money laying around. My clients have found the best way to purchase their dream home is with a home equity line of credit. Yes their presents homes have lost value in this market but many have lived in their present home long enough to qualify. This is the best of both worlds. They are buying their dream home for a lot less while waiting for their present home to increase in value before they sale. In many cases, in a few years from now when they sale, they will be getting their vacation or retirement home for free! This is just one way many are taking advantage of this great buyers market while there is such a great opportunity.
